  • Who are you, how long are you in the business and with whom are you working ?
    SzivNet Flower Delivery Service is a US-owned company operating an independent floral shop network in Hungary. Since launching our activity in 1999, we managed to build up our presence in all major towns including top-level local florists by whom - as far as we know - we have the largest florist network among internet-based flower delivery services in Hungary. Our florists often participate in competitions and exhibitions and many of them are internationally recognized florist masters. We also have versatile business connections with flower delivery companies in many countries, so reliable and timely delivery is guaranted in those cases as well.

    We do our best to serve our customers completely and as quickly and exactly as possible and our most important purpose is to increase the number of our satisfied and returning customers.

  • How can I order a present from you ?
    Please click on the available flower and wreath pictures and after that you will see a description of the product and also its price by sizes and available discounts. Your order can be submitted from our website only, no orders and no payment can be taken over in our florist shops. Our couriers will not go to you and collect payment from you personally, either. You must always pay for your order in advance because order processing will take place as soon as your payment arrives at us or you prove in a creditable way that your have completed your payment.
    Your present may only consist of products being generally available in florist shops.

  • Do you deliver to weddings and also to funerals?
    Yes, we do and these deliveries have always priority against our other orders.

  • What do your prices include on your page?
    They include the price of your present and its delivery fee in all those Hungarian locations where we have a florist shop. See these locations h e r e ( map of our florist network ). To other locations we charge additional delivery fee depending on the distance. Please select the appropriate distance on the order submission page or request information about it from our customer service.

  • What are your prices in case of deliveries outside Hungary, in which countries and locations do you deliver?
    As a basic information, we can tell you that our international prices are 1.5 - 2 times higher than our appropriate Hungarian prices, but you have to pay at least our minimal international order value of 177 US dollars ( 39000 Forints ). We have no price list for international deliveries, but we will compile an individual offer for you. Our international prices always include full delivery fee. We can inform you about where we can deliver within the given country and where not, after having contacted our partner floral service in that country. We suggest you should request information from our customer service before you submit your international flower order. In case of deliveries to Slovakia, Croatia, Slovenia, Romania, Serbia ( Vojvodina ) and Ukraine, our prices are the same as to Hungary, but you must pay a delivery fee calculated from our nearest florist to your recipient. In case of deliveries to Serbia and Ukraine, we charge double delivery fee.
    Our own pricing also applies in case of USA, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and India, but you must pay at least 118 USD ( 26000 Forints ) which is our minimal order value to these countries.

    We advise you should not be confused by the variety of floral websites on the whole internet who may even attract you with their cheaper pricing and conditions than ours seem to be. It occurs in many cases that these websites operate unmanned, without supervision even for weeks or months. Never submit any orders and never pay before you got into connection with their customer service because it may occur very easily that instead of a pleasant surprise for your recipient, you will be disappointed, you will encounter an unreliable or bad quality service or in the worst cases, you will be ripped-off, you will get no service for your money and your credit card data may be abused as result of your carelessness. SzivNet Flower Delivery Service is proud of the fact that we respond fast, often immediately to customer questions and inquiries which also assures that your present will be under control and in good hands until its final delivery to your recipient. Nevertheless, all our foreign partner companies are our reliable and trusted business connections verified many times.

  • How and when will my order be delivered?
    Delivery will be done always personally, by our couriers or shop managers or employees from hand to hand at the requested address. We do not offer delivery by post.
    In case of orders to Hungary, we can accept delivery deadline with a three hours' punctuality only. For instance, if you want your present to be delivered at 12 A.M., it can be done anytime between 10.30 A.M to 13.30 P.M. Exceptions are weddings and funerals, in these cases we deliver always on time. If you want a timely delivery in other cases, order our Express delivery service, then your present will have priority before others and will be delivered on time.
    Deliveries to other countries are possible on weekdays only, Saturday may also be OK in some cases. We generally cannot accept a more exact delivery time within the requested day, except for funerals and weddings. Those orders are delivered everywhere always on time.

  • I would like to attach a letter written by my own hands to my present. Is it possible?
    Yes, it is possible. Please contact our customer service first in writing, for this purpose. This service is available in case of orders to Hungary only and you must also take enough time into consideration which is needed for your letter to get to us by post.

  • What happens if the recipient is unreachable, not at home or not at the given address?
    In this case our courier will attempt to give your present to someone who can be expected to hand it over to the original recipient (for instance a family member, a receptionist in hotels, a nurse on the given department at hospitals, a security guard at offices, etc.). In these cases delivery will be regarded as done orderly. It is also important that you should provide your recipient's phone number to enable the courier to attempt to contact the her/him that way. If delivery cannot be successfully done by all means for the first time, you have to pay delivery fee for every further attempt, at least 12 US dollars ( 2640 Forints ) in each case. Repeated delivery service is available in Hungary only.

  • Will I be notified about the successful delivery?
    No, you will not, because we are notified by our shops only in case there is a trouble about your delivery. Fortunately, this happens very seldom and we will immediately attempt to contact you in this case.

  • Can I order other flowers than displayed on your page?
    Yes, we are at your disposal with all flowers generally available in floral shops. In Hungary we can offer you living flowers in the pot as well. In these cases, please contact our customer service by E-mail.

  • How can you guarantee that the recipient will get exactly what I have ordered?
    Unfortunately it is impossible to guarantee that your present will look exactly the same as in the picture. All bouquets and baskets are different. We can assure you, however, that your present will be as similar as possible to your choice and we will always use the species of flowers you have selected. So, your recipient will not get yellow lilies instead of red roses under no circumstances, etc.

  • How can you guarantee you will really fulfil my order exactly as and the way I have requested?
    We have already delivered hundreds of bouquets and presents and we have satisfied and returning customers and also we can assure you of high-quality and professional work of our florists and they are delivering always timely and orderly. We are very proud of that no founded complaints about deliveries have arrived yet from our customers during our whole operation. You can read some customer testimonials here.

  • Can I order a smaller present than shown on your site?
    Yes, you can, but we call your honourable attention that in all cases you must pay our minimal order which is 45 USD ( 10000 Forints ) in case of orders to Hungary, 118 USD ( 26000 Forints ) in case of orders to the USA, Austria, Switzerland, Germany and India as well as 177 USD ( 39000 Forints ) in case of orders to all other countries. Regretfully we are unable to accept orders from you below these values.

  • How soon do I have to submit my order before the requested delivery time?
    In case of deliveries in Hungary, this final deadline is 15 o'clock on the day of delivery. In case of deliveries to other countries, 48 hours before the requested delivery time. Please note also that your payment must also arrive at us by that time or you must prove us in a creditable way that you have completed it.

  • How and in which way can I pay to you?
    For customers in Hungary, we suggest bank transfer or cash deposit to our bank account at Hungarian Foreign Trade Bank Ltd. ( MKB ). You can complete your payment personally at all branches of this bank in Hungary. If you want to pay by bank transfer by internet homebanking service, please note that they operate only in banking hours, but we accept it as a proof of payment if you prove it up before us that a bank transfer for our favour has been debited to your account or is waiting to be debited. In order to do so, you must copy a screenshot of your account statement showing your successful payment by pressing Alt and PrintScreen buttons simultaneously and then paste it into a JPG-picture and send it to us in an E-mail attachment. ( Such pictures are accepted in case of Hungarian banks only. ) In all other cases, we must wait until your transfer is credited to our account.
    Furthermore, you can pay us by post at all post offices in Hungary by domestic postal order (Belföldi postautalvány). In this case we accept as a creditable proof of payment if you fax us or send us the receipt with a postal stamp on it by E-mail attachment.
    You may also pay us by credit card by Paypal.

    For customers outside Hungary, we suggest payment by Paypal or Western Union international money transfer or by credit card. Furthermore, you can also pay us by bank (wire) transfer. You can read about our payment conditions in details on our order submission page and there you can select the most suitable payment method for you.

    We have been offering payments by   Moneybookers , a UK company, since August, 2004. After you had opened a free account, you can send even small amounts fast and for a very favourable fee to anybody having an E-mail address. The recipients will receive your funds immediately and they can withdraw them from their account within 3-4 working days, in their own currency. You can fund your account very easily by domestic bank transfer or credit card in many countries. You must transfer us your payment to the E-mail address which will be written to you in your order confirmation mail. More details on our order submission page and on the homepage of the company.

    Since June, 2006 we are offering payments through Epassporte Virtual VISA. If you have already been holding an account at Epassporte , you can complete payment very quickly and inexpensively for us. If you do not have an account yet, you can open one anytime for free and load it by credit card capable for internet payments.

    Our newest payment method since September, 2006 is the well-known Paypal which can be used currently from 103 countries.

    Last, but not least, may we call your honourable attention to read always carefully and follow your order confirmation mail. If you do not keep our detailed payment instructions exactly, we will not be liable for any kind of damage or loss which may arise as a consequence because of it on your side.

  • Which payment method do you recommend primarily, which may be the best for me ?
    This depends on your place of residence and the requested delivery time. Please see the table below.

  • Do you have any price reductions?
    Our most common price reduction is related to payment method.

    For our customers in Hungary, in case of payments by

    • bank transfer, cash deposit to our bank account ( MKB - Hungarian Foreign Trade Bank ),
    for our customers outside Hungary
    • in case of payments by bank trasfer

    we are offering  15 per cent off  from our prices shown.
    For customers who have bought flowers from us before, we grant a  loyalty discount  of 6 USD ( 1320 Forints ). If your order exceeds the value of 120 USD ( 26400 Forints ) per item, this loyalty discount will be 10 USD ( 2200 Forints ) for you. These discounts are available only in case of deliveries in Hungary.

  • I have already purchased flowers from you and I have not received the above-mentioned loyalty discount this time. Why?
    There may be basically two reasons. Either you have not submitted your present order from that E-mail address which you used before or you have unsubscribed from our mailing list maintained for our customers of flowers or perhaps we have deleted your address from it because a mail bounced back from that address. In order to receive the loyalty discount, you are only requested to remain a subscriber to that mailing list, so that we could occasionally notify you about our promotions and discounts. If you unsubscribe, unfortunately you will lose your loyalty discount. If your E-mail address changed in the meantime or there is any other reason in your opinion why your loyalty discount is not indicated, please turn to our customer service with your complaint.

  • Why do we only accept payments by credit card by third-party companies such as Western Union, Epassporte, Paypal and Moneybookers ?
    Unfortunately, our bank does not offer a merchant account being capable of processing credit cards. Therefore, you can pay us by card using the services of the above mentioned widely known companies. Terms of credit card acceptance are determined by the companies themselves, but as far as we know, VISA and MasterCard are accepted at all the four of them. If you fail to pay by your card, please consider to pay by another payment method being available for you.

  • Do I have a final deadline until my payment must arrive at you from my order placement?
    Yes, you have. We are waiting for your payment or a creditable proof of payment from you 10 days by bank transfer from outside Hungary, 3 working days by Hungarian domestic postal order, 3 days by Hungarian domestic bank transfer, Moneybookers, Epassporte and Western Union, respectively 3 hours from the time of order placement by credit card, Paypal and Western Union Money-in-Minutes service. If the time between the day of your order placement and your requested delivery day is shorter than our general payment deadlines, your deadline is the requested day of delivery. If we do not receive your payment or you cannot prove your payment in a creditable way at least 3 hours before the requested delivery time, your order will be considered null and void and will be deleted.

  • What do sizes mean, how many pieces of flowers will my bouquet include?
    We cannot give you a definite answer on this question and it cannot be done so, either, at all. Our shops determine their pricing individually and it has no sense to view an arrangement as a mass of certain pieces of flowers, either. When we compile an arrangement for you, our primary purpose is that it must be beautiful and your recipient should also like what we create. This way you can reach your most relevant purpose which is most probably to cause joy and happiness to your recipient by your present.
    It is also impossible to say a number of pieces in advance. Let us tell you an example. Roses are generally available in three stem sizes in floral shops such as in a length of 30-60 cm which is the short size. 60-80 cm long are the medium-sized ones and those of 80-100 cm are the most expensive and most exclusive ones. Your bouquet can be compiled of all the three sizes and we can include more short-stem roses and fewer long-stem ones in it for the same price. You should not forget the necessary auxiliaries (greenery) and the mode of packing, either, which can also be simple and also very decorative. We can assure you we will do our best to achieve the nicest result we can make out of your money. If you do insist on sending a bouquet consisting of an exactly determined piece of flowers, you can do so in case of rose arrangements only.

  • On which days and what time do you deliver?
    In Hungary seven days a week in most cases, with the exception of Christmas, Easter and New Year's days. Delivery can be in Hungary between 8 and 19 o'clock on weekdays, between 8 and 12 o'clock on weekends and holidays. Our international partners usually do not deliver on weekends and holidays, but in some cases deliveries on Saturdays are possible.
    In Hungary, on Saturdays and holidays between 14 and 21 o'clock we can deliver for you against an addiditonal shipping charge of 30 USD ( 6600 Forints ). You can also request a night delivery every day between 21 and 7 o'clock against an extra fee of 60 USD ( 13200 Forints ), upon an agreement in advance.

  • Can I cancel my order after I had paid for it and will you refund my payment in this case?
    Since flower arrangements are perishable products which are compiled especially upon your order, cancellation and refund are partially possible only. Until 24 hours preceding the requested delivery time, 50 per cent of your payment can be refunded, after this time no refund is possible any more. It is up to negotiation between you and us that your paid sum may also be used later on for your future orders. If we fail to deliver because of our evident and provable fault, your paid sum will be fully refunded to you.

  • Can I send flowers to your lady ad holders ?
    Yes, you can, we will be pleased to deliver your present to any of them. In order to submit your order, please select the link Send flowers to XY on her personal introduction page, select the arrangement you like and fill in our order submittal page. We will give you the lady's address for free as a compliment to your flower order, so you do not have to pay our regular price for her address in this case. The most elegant, most effective and most impressive way to express your respect and care for the lady you like is a properly selected flower arrangement. So, if you want to make a successful and amazing start with her, the best way to initiate a contact are flowers.
